Costume-Only Rental in Kyoto: Booking Multiple Dresses, Kimono and Suits

Sometimes the photographer and location are already arranged and only the wardrobe is missing. Other shoots need several looks—a dress, kimono and suit in one day. Here is what to check before booking costumes separately or selecting multiple outfits together.

1. Confirm that studio rental is not required

Some wardrobes are available only as add-ons to a photo package. If you are shooting at another studio or on location, first confirm that costume-only rental is accepted. Heart Art Studio allows outfits to be selected without adding studio time.

2. Select several dresses, kimono or suits together

For a shoot with more than one look, a single itemized booking is easier to review than separate orders. The direct booking form lets you select multiple dresses, kimono and suits and pay for them together in one Square checkout.

3. Choose outfits around the shooting order

When combining Western and Japanese clothing, plan the sequence around locations, travel and changing time. For a short session, one main outfit and one clearly different second look are often more practical than too many changes.

4. Check sizing and fitting details

Label sizes do not fit exactly the same across garments. Prepare your height, usual size and shoe height, and ask about fit in advance when needed. For kimono and formalwear, also confirm which accessories are required.

5. Treat dressing and hair and makeup as separate services

Dressing and hair and makeup are not automatically included with every costume. Decide whether you will arrange them yourself or request additional support, and include the time for each outfit change in the shoot schedule.

6. Review the itemized total before paying

Check the garment names, quantities, individual prices and whether studio time has been added. Heart Art Studio shows the selected costumes and total before secure Square payment.
